Privacy Policy
Last updated August 4, 2026
Joining the waitlist on this website only collects the email address you give us, used solely to email you when early access opens. We don't share it with anyone else, and you can ask to be removed at any time via our contact page. Everything below describes how we handle your data once GoodForm launches and you start using the app.
The short version
Your posture photos are analysed entirely on your device and are never uploaded, stored, or seen by anyone: not us, not a server. We store your posture scores, findings, exercise progress, and account details so the app works across sessions and devices. We use PostHog for product analytics and Sentry for crash reporting, both detailed below. We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising SDKs.
Photos and on-device analysis
When you take a scan, the photo is processed locally on your device using its built-in AI to detect body landmark positions. That photo never leaves your phone and is never transmitted to us or any third party. Once analysis finishes, the photo is discarded; only the resulting posture score and findings (for example, "Forward Head Posture, moderate") are saved to your account.
Account information
To create an account you provide an email address, or sign in with Google or Apple, in which case we receive the name and email associated with that account. You may also set a display name and username. This information is used to identify your account, sync your data across devices, and (if you choose) display your username on the optional leaderboard.
Posture and activity data
We store your scan history (scores, findings, and the exercise plan generated for you), which exercises you've completed, your daily activity dates (used to calculate your streak), and your onboarding answers (such as your goals and any symptoms you reported). This data is used only to run the app's core features: showing your progress, building your exercise plan, and tracking your streak.
The optional leaderboard
Joining the leaderboard is off by default. If you turn it on in Settings, your username and posture score become visible to other GoodForm users. You can turn this off at any time, which removes your entry from the leaderboard.
Notifications
If you enable the daily reminder in Settings, GoodForm schedules a local notification on your device to nudge you to scan. This is scheduled entirely on-device: no notification content is sent from a server, and enabling it does not share any additional data with us.
Analytics and crash reporting
We use PostHog to understand how people use GoodForm (which screens get opened, which buttons get tapped) so we can improve the app over time. We use Sentry to catch crashes and errors so we can fix them; it's configured not to collect personal information by default. Once you're signed in, both tools link their data to your account ID (not your name or email) so we can investigate specific issues. Neither is used for advertising, and neither sells your data.
Payments and subscriptions
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are handled by Apple or Google through the App Store or Play Store, and processed by RevenueCat for entitlement management. We never see or store your payment card details; that information stays with Apple, Google, or their payment processors.
Who can see your data
Your scan history, exercise progress, and account details are private to your account and are not shared with other users, except for the username and score you explicitly choose to show on the leaderboard. We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use advertising SDKs.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (scans, activity history, profile, and leaderboard entry) at any time from Settings → Account → Delete my account. This action cannot be undone. If you'd like to be removed from the waitlist before the app launches, just email us below.
Children
GoodForm is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your data is handled, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app.
